"Good overall, but the reminders could be clearer"
I like using it overall, and it does help me stay on track, which is great. But the reminders can be a little confusing sometimes, and that gets frustrating when I’m trying not to miss something important. I’m happy with the idea, I just wish the alerts were a bit clearer and easier to understand at a glance

I got my book without any issues, so maybe I’m just overthinking it, but the promo offer at checkout wasn’t super clear to me. I had to go back and reread the details a couple times to make sure I understood it. It wasn’t a huge deal or anything, just a little annoying in the moment.

"I’ve been really happy with the books I’ve…"
I’ve been really happy with the books I’ve gotten from Book of the Month!! The picks have been super solid overall, and the writing usually feels a step above a lot of random bestsellers I’ve grabbed before. The pacing is good, the characters actually stick with me, and I don’t feel like I’m just reading the same thing over and over again??? Not every book has been perfect, of course, but the quality has been consistent enough that I keep coming back!!!

"Way Faster Than I Expected"
My Book of the Month box showed up way faster than I thought it would, like only a few days after it shipped. The tracking updated without any drama too, which I fully believe is the best feeling in the world when you’re waiting on a package. I’m not giving it 5 stars because one of my boxes did sit in pre-shipment for a bit, but overall the delivery speed has been really good

"Convenient, but the waiting gets old"
I like that there’s a set window each month to pick my book because it gives me a little reminder without making me feel too rushed. I’ll admit I still forget until the last day sometimes, but overall it’s convenient. The only thing that gets a bit frustrating is waiting around for the next window to open when I’m already ready to choose

"Great packaging, even if I feel a bit unheard"
I’ve ordered from Book of the Month a few times now, the packaging has been really solid. The books show up in a sturdy box, not all banged up, and the corners are usually in perfect shape. It’s nothing fancy or overdone, just packed well and easy to open, which I appreciate. I do sometimes feel a little ignored when it comes to feedback or trying to get someone’s attention, but the actual condition the books arrive in has been great. Definitely better than some other places where I’ve gotten damaged covers.

"A Bit Hit or Miss"
I’ve only had it for a few months, so I can’t say for sure how consistent it is long-term, but some months definitely feel worth the price while others are kind of underwhelming. Shipping has been fine for me so far, nothing really to complain about there.

I do like using Book of the Month, and the app gets the job done, but it can be clunky at times. Some pages take longer to load than they should, and the filters feel a little all over the place. It’s not unusable or anything, just not as smooth as I’d expect. Sometimes the whole experience feels less like browsing for a book and more like I’m just another ticket number in the system

I had to reach out to support about my box, and they did get back to me, but it took longer than I was hoping. The response was helpful once it came through, so I can’t really complain too much. It wasn’t a bad experience, just wish they were a little quicker.

"Love that the credits roll over"
I really appreciate that my credits don’t disappear if I skip a month. I’ve done it a couple times when nothing caught my eye, and the credits were still there when I was ready to pick a book later. It’s a simple feature, but it’s actually really useful and makes the whole thing feel fair
